Terms of Service

The rules of the road for using Solt.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Solt, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Solt is a property investment analysis tool. You enter property details and assumptions; we render calculations, scenarios and summaries to help you reason about an investment.

Solt is not financial advice. Our calculations are a model, not a recommendation. Final investment decisions, tax positions and contractual commitments are yours. Verify numbers with qualified professionals (accountant, lawyer, mortgage broker) before acting on them.

3. Subscriptions

  • Solt PRO: €1.99 per month or €16.99 per year, with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Cancellation: you can cancel at any time. On iOS: through your Apple ID subscription settings. On web: through your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate refunds.
  • Trial-to-paid: if you do not cancel before the 14-day trial ends, the first paid period begins automatically at the published price.
  • Feature movement: we may add features to either tier or move existing features between tiers as Solt evolves. We will not suddenly remove access to data you have entered, but a feature you used as part of PRO may become free, and vice versa. We do not offer grandfathering.
  • Price changes: if we change the price of a subscription, we will notify you in advance and you will have the chance to cancel before the new price applies.

4. Acceptable use

  • Personal use, or use within your own investment business.
  • Do not reverse-engineer the service, scrape it at scale, or use it to harm others.
  • Do not share account credentials. Each account is for one person. (Team plans may arrive later.)
  • Do not enter personal data about other people without a lawful basis to do so.

5. Your data and content

You own the data you enter into Solt. We process it on your behalf only — see the Privacy Policy for the full story on storage, sharing and retention. Deleting your account at /account removes the data you entered.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for the service to be available, but we do not guarantee uptime. We may change, pause or discontinue features at any time; for material changes we will notify active users by email or in-app message.

7. Liability

Solt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data, investment outcomes, calculation errors, or downtime. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

You can terminate this agreement at any time by deleting your account at /account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where feasible. Sections that should survive termination by their nature (liability, governing law, etc.) survive.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply where you live.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced by email and in-app, and you can stop using the service if you do not accept the new terms.
