Privacy Policy

What we collect, where we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

1. Who we are

Solt is operated by Pol Quintana. If you have a question about this policy, the easiest way to reach us is by email.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your email address and a hashed password (we never see or store the plaintext).
  • Property data you create: the details you enter about properties — addresses, prices, financial figures, notes. We store this because you asked us to.
  • Subscription state: whether you are on the free or PRO tier. Billing identifiers come from RevenueCat and the App Store / Stripe; we never see your card number.
  • Server logs: timestamps and request URLs to keep the service running. When an error occurs, the diagnostic detail is sent to Sentry (EU-hosted) along with your numeric user ID; retained for 90 days.
  • What we do not collect: third-party advertising identifiers, social-graph data, location beyond what you type into a property record. During the beta we run no third-party analytics.

3. Where it is stored

Our database is Supabase Postgres in the EU (Frankfurt region). Subscription state lives at RevenueCat; payments go through Stripe (web) or the Apple App Store (iOS). Error reports go to Sentry.

4. Who we share with

  • Supabase — managed Postgres host (EU).
  • RevenueCat — entitlement state across iOS and web. GDPR-compliant data processor.
  • Stripe — payment processor for web subscriptions.
  • Apple — payment + subscription state for iOS users.
  • Sentry — error monitoring (EU-hosted). We pass numeric user IDs only, never email or property content.

We do not sell or share your data for advertising or for any purpose other than running Solt.

5. How long we keep it

While your account exists, plus the time needed for backups to roll over (typically 30 days). When you delete your account at /account, we remove your data and revoke any outstanding sessions immediately. Sentry error reports auto-expire after 90 days regardless.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or object to how we process it. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. The fastest path is to email us; for deletion the in-app option at /account is immediate.

7. Cookies

We set one cookie, solt_session, to keep you signed in. It is essential for the service to function (you cannot use Solt without being signed in). We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Because nothing we set is non-essential, we do not show a cookie banner.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes (e.g. a new data processor) will also be announced by email.
